Adventures in Cooking; Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 c. margarine or butter softened
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. peanut butter (I used crunchy)
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. four (bread flour makes for great cookies)
1 c. quick oats
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups (plus a few extra) candy coated pieces
Heat oven to 350. Beat margarine, sugars, peanut butter, vanilla and eggs vigorously in a large bowl until creamy and well blended. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir in candy pieces. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute;remove cookies from cookie sheet and place on wire rack. Makes about 4 dozen cookies. (if not using oats substitute 2/3 c. flour.)

Here they are ready to come out of the oven. I only made 18 cookies I dished up the rest on a cookie sheet and put it in the freezer, once froze(overnight) I placed them in a plastic freezer bag to store for a easy homemade treat hot from the oven.
Enjoy!
