There's a peace I've come to know

Though my heart and flesh may fail

There's an anchor for my soul

I can say "It is well"

Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

I never knew it.

Though I had heard it several times.

There really is a peace that fills your soul when you pray and ask God to forgive you. They may have been big offenses, they may be little, (to God they are all equal.) And it's more then a difference of Heaven and Hell, its about peacefulness here and now, and the difference you can make on Earth with your time here.

Once you have been forgiven by God, you really need to confess to someone, your spouse would be the first, and then a friend(someone that can relate to you, someone that you can trust to be honest with you,) that too releases something in you that is beyond freeing, beyond peaceful.

The next step to me would be to forgive others,  you will want to pray that he will help you release the anger in your heart and forgive those that have wronged you (wholeheartedly).

And finally you strive not only to obey his commandments but live your whole life in a wholesome way, (the hard way...with others that love God and with those who don't... every part of your life needs to be PURE)

I promise you, if you do these things, you will have peace, I do, it is well! And your life will be better then before.

One more little thing,  be prepared, because when you pray there is an enemy that is going to attack you, he hates prayer. Be prepared to take him seriously and attack back, with more prayer.
